Abstract
It is fascinating to know that an old instrument such as the harpsichord found in a music that is still new, the so-called "contemporary" music, the occasion for an extraordinary revival. Elisabeth Chojnacka, which belongs to the performers thanks to whom was created contemporary music's repertoire for harpsichord, is the favourite performer for Iannis Xenakis's pieces for/with harpsichord, pieces that are of central importance for this repertoire.
